Build a report another player could reproduce
Obsidian's Grounded 2 report instructions ask for platform, summary, screenshot or clip, detailed reproduction steps, a save file or gamertag to share the world with Support, and system specifications. These are requested details—not a reason to publish private data to a public forum. If an item is unavailable, the support page says the team can work with players on missing details.
Check the official Issue Tracker first. If a matching issue already exists, compare the current status and add a useful reproduction or vote where the tracker permits. If you contact support, use the official portal and attach only materials you have reviewed and are comfortable sharing.
- Record the platform and exact Grounded 2 build shown on the main menu, plus world type and whether you hosted or joined.
- Write one sentence for expected behavior and one for actual behavior. Include the exact message or observable result, not only 'broken'.
- List numbered steps from loading the world to the failure. State whether the issue repeats and whether it occurs in a copied/test world, if you safely checked.
- Check the official Issue Tracker. Link an existing report if appropriate; otherwise use Obsidian Support's current report/contact path.
- Review screenshots, clips, save exports and diagnostics for usernames or other personal details before uploading. Follow the current portal's attachment limits and do not share account credentials.

Know what this local builder does and does not do
The tool below formats a draft report from your text. It does not validate the game version, classify the bug, determine whether it is already fixed, open your files, create a ticket or transmit anything. The generated report deliberately includes only fields you enter; use the official tracker and support portal for current status and submission.

Windows diagnostic privacy check
Obsidian's report article gives a Windows DxDiag route and warns that diagnostic files may include the computer name and possibly the Windows username. Review the file before sending it. The described folder below applies to the Windows save-location guidance only; do not use it as a console file path or post a save publicly.

Use public discussion and private support for different purposes
A Steam discussion is useful for voluntary player-to-player comparison, but its posts are not verified and it is not the right place for a private save or unredacted diagnostic. Use the developer-hosted Issue Tracker for public status and a private support contact for materials the support team requests.

Frequently asked questions
Does the builder send my report to Obsidian?
No. It formats text in your browser. You choose whether and where to submit it; no file is uploaded by GamerWin.
What should I include if I play on console?
Obsidian asks for platform, summary, screenshot or clip, reproduction steps, save/gamertag for Support, and system details. Include what is available and follow the official portal's current instructions; Windows file paths do not apply to consoles.
Can I attach a DxDiag file without checking it?
Obsidian specifically warns that it can include computer and possibly user names. Review the file and remove anything you are uncomfortable sharing before upload.
