Do not click through a cloud/local conflict until you know which copy contains the intended island state. Ubisoft documents up to ten Anno 1800 cloud saves and an explicit cloud icon for upload; uploaded saves then sync when progress is saved. First record the campaign/island name, timestamp, launcher account and whether the game was offline, then preserve a separate PC backup and compare both copies before selecting an upload or restore path.
