Confirm both versions before touching a save
Poncle's account page lists supported cross-save platforms and explicitly excludes Apple Arcade. The Apple Arcade edition has its own standalone save file and is distinct from the regular iOS app. The account FAQ's Switch wording may change; read the live page rather than assuming an old rollout announcement still applies.
| Destination/source | Support stated on the linked FAQ now | Safe interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Steam / Epic / Xbox / Android / regular iOS | Listed as supported account-save platforms | Use the manual Cloud Slot sequence and verify both copies |
| Apple Arcade Vampire Survivors+ | Excluded from account cross-save; standalone save | Do not expect regular iOS progress to appear in Arcade or vice versa |
| Nintendo Switch | The account page currently says coming soon | Recheck the live FAQ before planning; don't treat as available until confirmed |

Save to the Cloud Slot, then load deliberately
The official workflow requires a poncle account and manual actions. Because saving and loading are not automatic, a platform sign-in alone does not prove that the latest local progress reached the cloud. Check the selected device and read the in-game confirmation before proceeding.
- On the source device, open the cloud/account button and sign into the intended poncle account; complete email verification if prompted.
- Open My Account → Manage Data → Save Data and press SAVE for the Cloud Slot.
- Wait for the game to confirm completion; do not close the game while the operation is pending.
- On the destination device, sign into the same account, open My Account → Manage Data → Load Data, and inspect the displayed Cloud Slot before pressing LOAD.
- If the local and cloud copies differ, stop and compare timestamps/content prompts; choose only after identifying which progress you intend to keep.

Do not confuse save progress with DLC purchases
A cloud save can carry progress markers for content without transferring the purchase entitlement. Store purchases are tied to platform storefront rules; poncle's FAQ explains that licensed DLC availability differs by edition. Before changing platform, confirm the destination owns any add-on you need to launch that content.
- List the source platform, destination platform, game edition, and DLC entitlements separately.
- Check the destination storefront/library for the add-on instead of inferring ownership from a save icon.
- If a save contains content not installed or licensed on the destination, pause before overwriting or deleting anything.
- Keep a local backup where the platform supports one, and use official platform save instructions for that copy.

Worked example: Steam to an iPhone
A Steam player wants to continue on a regular iOS copy. Both are included in poncle's listed platform set. The player still must manually save the Steam profile to the Cloud Slot, then sign into the same poncle account on iOS and manually load that slot. This does not establish Apple Arcade compatibility and does not move paid DLC entitlements.

Before you play
- I distinguished regular iOS from Vampire Survivors+ on Apple Arcade.
- Both source and destination are currently listed as supported by poncle.
- The source device explicitly saved to the Cloud Slot.
- The destination explicitly loaded the intended Cloud Slot after checking its prompt.
- I checked DLC ownership separately and kept a recoverable copy before any overwrite.
Frequently asked questions
Will progress sync automatically when I sign in?
No. Poncle says save and load are manual Cloud Slot actions; automatic syncing is not supported.
Can I move my regular iPhone save into Apple Arcade?
Poncle currently describes Vampire Survivors+ as standalone with its own save, not transferable to the regular iOS version.
Does cross-save transfer DLC purchases?
Do not assume that. Save progress and storefront entitlements are separate; confirm the destination edition's own content access.
