Trace from a real consumer backward
- Select the consumer and confirm it currently demands the exact good; not every nearby building accepts every cargo.
- Check that the final station or stop is the right type and within the consumer's effective catchment/connection.
- Follow the active line backward one segment at a time, including transfers. Confirm a vehicle is assigned and running on each line.
- At every station, check that the station handles cargo and the vehicle has a compatible wagon/hold for that good.
- Finally confirm the producer has output and is connected to the first station. Fix the first broken edge rather than expanding the whole network.

Find the broken edge
| Signal | Likely category to inspect | Next controlled check |
|---|---|---|
| Producer has no output | Industry inputs or production state | Read the industry's current input/output panel |
| Cargo appears at origin but not on vehicle | Station type, line stop or cargo-compatible vehicle | Check station cargo handling and vehicle cargo class |
| Cargo reaches transfer station and stops | Missing second line, terminal assignment or incompatible leg | Trace the active line from the transfer to a demanding consumer |
| Consumer is nearby but unserved | No connected last mile or wrong station catchment | Use the line/station coverage view and add a valid final connection |

Use community examples carefully
Steam discussions often show one map's line, mod set or industry layout. Use a thread to identify what screenshot might help, then verify with the developer manual and your own cargo/line panels. Do not assume another player's vehicle list or station coverage matches your game.

Before you play
- I confirmed current demand for the exact good.
- Every station handles cargo and every vehicle carries that cargo type.
- Each transfer has an active line and assigned vehicle.
- I traced a working final connection to the consumer.
- I changed the first broken link before buying more capacity.
Frequently asked questions
Why is cargo not produced even though a station is next to the industry?
A nearby station alone does not prove a complete route to a demanding consumer; check the full connected chain and current industry state.
Can any train carry any cargo?
No. The vehicle and wagons must support the cargo type; use the game UI and manual to verify compatibility.
Does GamerWin inspect my transport lines?
No. This is a checklist based on values you verify in your own save; it does not access game files.
