Browser-local strategy worksheet

Terra Invicta version-aware question builder

Organize the scenario, DLC, build, campaign setup, or UI setting before comparing a guide or asking other players.

This worksheet only uses fields entered in this page tab; it does not read a save, game client, PC, account, logs, or Steam branch and submits nothing. Entries clear on reload. External community posts are user-generated and unverified; remove usernames, credentials, private save data, receipts, and personal file paths before sharing.

Make the decision visible before changing it

The official notes give two practical controls but not a guarantee that all interface elements behave identically on every display or future patch. Change presentation first, then inspect the same screen again before making a strategic move.

  1. Open current settings and locate the Graphics/UI Scale control; note its present value before changing it.
  2. Adjust the slider in a small increment and reopen the same tooltip or council/ship detail that was hard to read.
  3. If needed, inspect the magnifier setting and current key binding. The 1.0.38 note listed backslash as the default; verify your actual key map.
  4. Keep the change only if the relevant text is readable and the game remains usable at your display resolution.
  5. If controls are absent, record build and platform; a newer/other platform interface may not match the historical note.

Separate readability from strategic uncertainty

A copied plan may fail because a tooltip is unreadable, not because the mechanic changed. Record which text you could not inspect and postpone the consequential choice until the current UI is legible.

  1. State the screen and label/tooltip that is hard to read.
  2. Record the UI Scale and magnifier/keybind settings you tried.
  3. State whether the text became legible after the change; do not post personal medical details.
  4. Ask an external player discussion a UI question rather than requesting a universal campaign strategy.

Before you play

  • I checked the live settings and current key binding.
  • I changed UI scale in a reversible small step.
  • I rechecked the same tooltip before changing my plan.
  • I recorded build/platform if the documented control was absent.

Frequently asked questions

Is backslash always the magnifier key?

It was the default stated in build 1.0.38 notes. Your current keybind or platform can differ.

Does the magnifier repair every small-text issue?

No. The notes do not promise that every UI surface or display setting is covered.

Does this guide know my display or accessibility settings?

No. It only provides a checklist and reads no local system or game data.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 7, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

Pavonis Interactive / Hooded Horse developer announcements. Build 1.0.53b (September 11, 2026) changes alien-fleet timing in DLC scenarios; build and scenario scope matter. No campaign was tested.

  2. Terra Invicta Steam Discussions (Community)

External player-generated discussion, not verified by GamerWin. Include scenario, DLC, build, difficulty and the relevant council/spacecraft panel; never post private saves.

What changed in this revision
