Understand the one-save cloud handoff
Ubisoft's instructions require a manual upload from the in-game save menu and the same Ubisoft account on the destination platform. The help page says only one save can be uploaded to the cloud at a time. Ubisoft separately documents 27 manual save slots and up to three autosave slots; local slot availability and cloud handoff are different systems.

Controlled platform switch
- On the source platform, open the in-game save menu and identify the manual slot you actually want to continue; record its displayed location/time if available.
- Use Ubisoft's in-game Upload to cloud action for that chosen save. Wait for the game to confirm completion; this checklist cannot observe the upload.
- On the destination, sign in with the same Ubisoft account and allow the game to sync before creating or selecting a different cloud save.
- If the destination shows a different state, stop before uploading from that platform. Compare the displayed platform, chapter, slot and timestamp and preserve the source state.
- If the save remains missing, use Ubisoft support with platform, storefront, account region, last-known upload state and exact prompt. Do not delete local folders or unlink accounts based on an old discussion post.

PC file caution
Ubisoft lists separate default locations for Ubisoft Connect and Steam PC saves. Those paths are not interchangeable, and the cited page does not authorize deleting, renaming or replacing files. Treat a folder copy as a separate backup operation and follow current publisher support before editing data.
