Turn an objective into a safe next trip
A task tracker answers what the current objective says, not every resource, landmark, or threat on the way. After the rebalance, old beginner advice about aggressive enemy density or parry stamina may not match the changed systems; inspect the current UI and update notes first.
- Open the current Task Log and copy the objective text exactly; check the journal/tutorial panel for a prerequisite or unlock.
- Identify the next visible task marker or named resource in your current map, then plan a short return route rather than assuming a full-region walkthrough.
- Before changing enemy-spawn sliders, record their present values and which world/save they belong to; settings can change the experience and are not a universal difficulty fix.
- If combat is the blocker, use current tutorial prompts and observe stamina after a parry; the developer states parry stamina was reworked, so avoid applying an older fixed-cost claim.
- After a setting change, compare one condition at a time and note the build. Do not claim a slider value is optimal from this guide.
| What you see | Next check | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| Task Log objective | Read exact text and prerequisite in Journal/tutorial | Tracker is a full route or map reveal |
| Enemy encounter feels too frequent | Current world slider and build | One slider setting is best for all players |
| Parry empties stamina unexpectedly | Current tutorial and observed stamina before/after | An old fixed stamina cost still applies |
| Crafting lacks nearby materials | Current station/chest behavior described in patch notes | Every storage item is in range |

Prepare a reproducible question
A useful peer question needs your platform, build, world slider context and exact task string. The note builder keeps those fields local and does not connect to the save.
- Copy the objective text from the Task Log.
- Record the platform/build and relevant world slider value.
- Say whether the obstacle is a prerequisite, enemy, resource, or stamina issue.
- Ask one narrow question in the external discussion forum.

Before you play
- I checked the Task Log and Journal instead of relying on a copied route.
- I recorded the current world setting before changing it.
- I am not repeating a pre-rebalance stamina number.
- I separated a task marker from a full route solution.
Frequently asked questions
Should I lower every enemy setting?
Not automatically. The notes confirm that sliders exist, not a universally correct value. Choose for your desired challenge and record the setting.
Can this tool reveal my next objective?
No. It formats text you enter; it cannot inspect the journal, world, or unlock state.
