Verify the trial before using its limited time
The trial page describes up to six hours and says trial progress and purchases are saved if you later buy the full game. Six hours is a play-time limit, not a promise that every mission or platform feature is included. Store listings, region and Ubisoft account conditions may change; check the offer displayed in your own storefront before downloading.
| Before starting | What Ubisoft states | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm storefront and region | Trial is listed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S | That an offer shown in one region is available in another |
| Sign in with the intended Ubisoft account | Cross-progression is supported across devices/platforms | That a different account can merge or recover a captain |
| Record the starting platform and trial timer | Progress and purchases made in trial carry to full game | That a platform-store purchase automatically moves between console families |

Make a low-risk handoff checklist
- Open the official trial page and the exact platform store page; confirm the offer is currently available to your account and region.
- Before the first launch, verify the Ubisoft account shown in the game. Do not create or relink accounts simply to test cross-progression.
- Keep the trial and eventual full-game purchase on the platform/account combination you intend to continue with; note any platform-family change separately.
- After purchasing the full game, launch it while signed into the same Ubisoft account and allow the game to synchronize before closing or starting a second platform session.
- If progression is missing, stop before overwriting a local save or unlinking an account. Record platform, storefront, approximate last session and the visible error, then use Ubisoft support.

Scope and limits
This article summarizes Ubisoft's stated trial and cross-progression policy; it does not verify a purchase, a live service, a captain save or the availability of a particular reward. If the offer page changes, follow the current storefront and Ubisoft help instructions instead of relying on a dated screenshot.

Before you play
- I checked the current trial listing in my own region and storefront.
- I confirmed the intended Ubisoft account before the first launch.
- I kept platform-store ownership separate from cross-progression.
- I did not unlink accounts or overwrite a save to test continuity.
