Classify what is missing
| What you expected | GGG's published rule | First check |
|---|---|---|
| A PoE 2 character on another supported platform | Characters can be played across platforms | Selected GGG account/sub-account at character select |
| A PlayStation-purchased microtransaction on PC or Xbox | PlayStation purchases are not usable on other platforms | Platform where that specific purchase originated |
| A PC/Xbox-purchased microtransaction on PlayStation | Purchases made on other platforms are not usable on PlayStation | Original platform and selected sub-account |
| Other platform MTX shown on PC and Xbox | MTX remain associated with individual sub-accounts; GGG describes cross-platform account use | Whether both clients select the sub-account holding the purchase |

Check in safe order
GGG says moving microtransactions between sub-accounts may be requested as a one-time support action, but warns that characters cannot be moved between sub-accounts. Consider the effect on both character lists before asking Support to move anything.
- Identify whether the missing item is a character, a microtransaction, or platform access; these are not the same entitlement.
- Write down where the purchase was made and which sub-account currently holds it, if known.
- On the destination client, select the intended sub-account and check the relevant in-game stash/store page.
- For a PlayStation-origin purchase viewed elsewhere (or the reverse), treat GGG's platform restriction as the likely boundary rather than unlinking accounts.
- If a purchase is missing on its originating platform, use that storefront's receipt/support route and GGG's account support; do not post transaction or account details in public discussions.

What the storefront can and cannot prove
The Steam page establishes Steam's own product listing and current Early Access label. It cannot verify access bought through PlayStation, Xbox, or another PC storefront. A browser checker cannot read a library or receipt. Use the platform account and current storefront in which you intend to play; confirm access there before spending or changing account links.

Limits and community reports
No current price or future entitlement is promised here. Store offers, service state and purchase records can change by platform and region. GGG's account notice is the source for cross-platform character and MTX boundaries; Steam and GGG community threads are user posts, not proof of an individual purchase.

Before you play
- I identified character access versus a microtransaction or store entitlement.
- I noted the platform where the purchase originated.
- I checked the active GGG sub-account on the destination client.
- I did not unlink accounts or request a cosmetic move without understanding the separate character-list risk.
Frequently asked questions
If my character works across platforms, should every purchase follow it?
No. GGG documents cross-platform characters separately from platform-specific microtransaction availability.
Can GamerWin check my Steam or console ownership?
No. The local preflight only uses selections on this page; it cannot read a library, account, receipt or purchase history.
