Follow the developer's install warning

The 1.14.0.0 announcement warns that stale builds may cause crashes or save-data errors and recommends keeping the base game and updates on one storage device. It gives internal/external storage as examples, but each storefront exposes installation management differently.

  1. Record platform/storefront and the version shown by the current client.
  2. Check whether base game and update/patch data are installed to the same storage device where that platform permits inspection.
  3. If split across devices, use the platform's official move/reinstall workflow; keep account saves backed up where supported and avoid interrupting the move.
  4. Install the latest official update before launching after a disc install, as the developer notice directs.
  5. If errors continue, report the platform, build and storage arrangement to NEOWIZ support. Do not use unofficial patch data or save tools.

A picked-up item may be in Storage

This distinction can prevent an unnecessary replay or risky data edit. The notice does not say every missing-item report is explained by bag capacity.

Report what the source cannot answer

The patch note gives a narrow install and inventory explanation, not a platform-by-platform save repair manual. If the item remains absent from Storage or updates cannot be aligned, contact NEOWIZ support and state the platform, storefront, build, exact item/error and steps already tried.

Before you play

  • I checked Storage if the Bag was full at pickup.
  • I recorded platform/storefront and current build.
  • I confirmed base game and patch data share one storage device where applicable.
  • I used official update channels and preserved saves before repairs.

Frequently asked questions

Should I replay the boss if the item is gone?

If your Bag was full, first check Storage; NEOWIZ says the pickup is sent there.

Does this prove a game-file split caused my crash?

No. The developer warns against split storage but the checker cannot inspect your install or diagnose a crash.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 7, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

  1. NEOWIZ: Lies of P Update Notes Version 1.14.0.0 (Official)

Developer-published Steam announcement dated 30 September 2026. It warns to keep the game updated, install base and patch data on one storage device, and check Storage when the Bag is full. The warning is broader than this patch's small Switch 2 fixes.

  2. NEOWIZ: Lies of P Support and Platform FAQ (Official)

NEOWIZ explicitly says Xbox save data syncs across Xbox platforms, while PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 compatibility does not mean save transfer. It lists currently supported platforms and the official bug-report email; PC or Switch 2 transfer behavior should not be inferred from console wording.

External user-generated Steam discussions, not official support or verified results. Match the storefront, platform and build; do not download untrusted save files or utilities.
