Lies of P save-path checker

Compare platform families against the specific transfer statements in NEOWIZ's FAQ.

Published support boundary

NEOWIZ says the PlayStation edition is compatible with PS4 and PS5, but its saved data cannot be transferred. Keep the source console/save; do not start a destination save expecting it to import.

The checker cannot read your account, cloud save or device. “Not established” is not a promise of support. Preserve the source save before trying a different platform.

Compatibility is not the same as moving a save

Check before starting or overwriting a destination save

  1. Record the exact storefront/console and account used for the current character.
  2. Select the intended destination platform in the local checker and read the cited boundary.
  3. For an Xbox move, confirm both devices use the same Xbox identity and allow the platform's save sync to finish before launching a new slot.
  4. For PS4/PS5, preserve the source console and understand the publisher's no-transfer statement before buying, reinstalling or starting over on the other generation.
  5. For PC, Switch 2 or cross-platform moves, consult current platform and NEOWIZ support; this FAQ does not promise transfer compatibility.
  6. If a save is missing, contact NEOWIZ support with platform, version and exact behavior; do not send credentials or download third-party saves.

Ask for help with reproducible details

NEOWIZ lists its supported editions and directs players with game errors or questions to its official support email. Public Steam discussions can help surface similar symptoms but cannot verify entitlement or transfer a private save.

Before you play

  • I wrote down source and target platform generations.
  • I matched the publisher's platform-specific save statement.
  • I preserved the source save before trying a different platform.
  • I did not infer PC or Switch 2 transfer from console wording.

Frequently asked questions

Can I transfer a PS4 save to PS5?

NEOWIZ's FAQ says PlayStation saved data cannot be transferred, even though the game is compatible with both generations.

Does Xbox sync mean cross-play?

No. Save syncing across Xbox platforms is not a statement about multiplayer; NEOWIZ describes Lies of P as single-player.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 7, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

  1. NEOWIZ: Lies of P Support and Platform FAQ (Official)

NEOWIZ explicitly says Xbox save data syncs across Xbox platforms, while PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 compatibility does not mean save transfer. It lists currently supported platforms and the official bug-report email; PC or Switch 2 transfer behavior should not be inferred from console wording.

  2. Lies of P player discussions on Steam (Community)

External user-generated Steam discussions, not official support or verified results. Match the storefront, platform and build; do not download untrusted save files or utilities.
