Read the timeline state before choosing another echo
The Monolith of Fate is accessed from the End of Time and is designed for after the campaign. Each timeline has its own area level, enemies, layout and quest milestones. The map state is the most useful first diagnostic.
| Visible state | Documented next step | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| More paths revealed after an echo | Choose among currently unlocked echoes | Every map path is already complete |
| Stability threshold reached | Select the available quest echo | Repeating an echo must add a new quest step |
| Final quest echo completed | Defeat the timeline boss and review blessing choices | One blessing is best for every build |
| Want higher Corruption | Use the current official Shade/Corruption method | Normal echo count alone raises it |

A low-risk progression check
Use the character's current timeline panel and official support flow; do not apply old build rankings or assume cycle-specific values from another player's screenshot.
- Record cycle, character level, timeline name and whether it is empowered in the current UI.
- Check which echoes are unlocked and whether the displayed stability threshold for a quest echo is met.
- Complete an unlocked echo, then re-read the map rather than relying on memory of the prior state.
- After all quest echoes, defeat the timeline boss and compare the available blessing descriptions to your own goal.
- If the goal is Corruption specifically, open the current official Corruption article and check the named interaction and timeline state before proceeding.
- For a forum question, include timeline, cycle, displayed stability and the exact Corruption symptom; do not post account or save files.

Frequently asked questions
Do ordinary echoes automatically increase Corruption?
Do not infer that from echo completion. Use the official Corruption instructions and verify the current timeline state.
When can I choose a blessing?
The official overview describes the choice after completing a timeline's quest echoes and defeating its boss.
Is this an optimal farming route?
No. This is a progression diagnostic, not a tested efficiency or build guide.
