Check area relevance before changing inventory
The developer's note turns one common false lead into a clear first check: a trend may not be displayed without a relevant shop in the same area. This is a visibility condition, not a promise of a profitable event or a complete calendar.
- Record the region/area named by the event clue and the shop business type you own there.
- Open the event/calendar screen and verify that a relevant shop exists in that area; do not substitute a shop in another region.
- Check the current shop ledger and stock warning. The patch notes describe alerts when stock is low; read the item's actual current quantity before restocking.
- If a trend appears, record the event name, area and displayed dates/hours; do not assume the same event or demand level repeats every season.
- Change one business factor at a time—area relevance first, then stock—so you can tell whether visibility or inventory changed.
- If the expected trend is still absent, record version, area and shop type and compare with current developer announcements before rebuilding or moving a business.
| Observation | First check | Avoid assuming |
|---|---|---|
| No trend in calendar | Relevant shop in the same area | That a global trend is active everywhere |
| Trend visible, no sales | Ledger and stock status | That event visibility guarantees profit |
| Low-stock notice | Actual product quantity and supply route | That every product is affected equally |
| Another player reports a different event | Area, year, version and shop type | That their report matches your state |

Record one shop cycle
The local tool provides a comparison note, not a sales forecast. It cannot see your ledger or update the shop.
- Enter area, business type, event text and platform/build.
- Record stock warning and the time period shown in your own ledger.
- Copy the note before testing a single change; keep money/reputation results as observed values, not guarantees.
Before you play
- I checked for a relevant shop in the same area as the trend.
- I read the ledger's current stock warning and quantity.
- I treated event visibility as different from guaranteed profit.
- I recorded version/area before comparing community posts.
Frequently asked questions
Does a missing trend mean my save is broken?
Not necessarily. The developer notes say trends appear only with a relevant shop in that area; first verify business and region.
Does a trend guarantee better profit?
The cited update establishes visibility conditions, not a guaranteed price or sales result. Check your current ledger and event text.
Can this tool calculate my shop's earnings?
No. It records values you enter and does not read or predict the game's ledger.
