Jagged Alliance 3 rule-combination worksheet

Mark only the optional rules you intend to enable, then turn that choice into a pre-campaign checklist.

0 optional rules selected

No optional rule selected. The 1.5 notes describe these as configurable choices, not mandatory campaign rules.

This worksheet does not estimate difficulty, mercenary survival, ammunition use, or campaign success. Rule names and behavior are tied to the developer's Patch 1.5 description; verify the options in your installed build. Entries remain in this tab and are not uploaded.

Use the published platform pair, not the phrase 'cross-play' alone

The developer's Patch 1.5 announcement calls the console multiplayer functionality cross-gen and explicitly lists two same-family pairs. It does not describe all-platform matchmaking. 'Cross-generation' answers a narrower question than 'can any two platforms play together?' Keep those questions separate when planning a co-op save.

Preflight before either player commits

A supported generation pair is not a guarantee that accounts, editions, connection state or a particular session will work. Verify the exact game listing and test the invite path before scheduling a long co-op session. This sequence is meant to prevent a mistaken platform assumption; it is not a network diagnosis.

  1. Write down each player's platform and generation, including whether one is on PC.
  2. Match the pair against the two cross-gen console pairs named by the developer.
  3. If the pair is not listed, mark it unconfirmed rather than inferring support from the game's multiplayer label.
  4. Check both players are on compatible installed versions and the same intended game edition/DLC state.
  5. Use a short lobby/invite check before beginning a shared campaign; if it fails, capture the exact platform pair and displayed message for official support.

Example: PS4 host, PS5 guest

This pairing is explicitly named in the announcement. It is reasonable to proceed to a low-cost invite test, then confirm the lobby shows both players before investing in a coordinated campaign session. The source does not promise that every account/network configuration succeeds, so treat the actual lobby as the final check.

Community reports are not a compatibility matrix

The Steam discussion link is an external user-generated forum. A post that says 'crossplay works' may refer only to cross-gen within a console family, an older build or a specific account setup. Ask the poster for both exact platforms and build numbers; do not repeat a broad claim without those limits.

Before you play

  • I recorded both platforms and generations.
  • I distinguished listed cross-gen support from unlisted cross-platform pairs.
  • I checked version/edition state before making a campaign plan.
  • I tested the invite path before scheduling a long session.

Frequently asked questions

Can PC and PS5 play together?

The cited developer announcement does not establish PC-console cross-play. Check current official platform support rather than inferring it.

Does PS4-to-PS5 mean PlayStation-to-Xbox cross-play?

No. The stated pair is cross-generation within PlayStation; the announcement separately lists Xbox One with Xbox Series X|S.

Can this worksheet test my lobby?

No. It only organizes the platform facts you enter; it cannot inspect accounts, network status, game versions or invites.
