Check the actual setting, not just a visual change
The official note identifies graphics options saving incorrectly in some scenarios. It does not enumerate every setting or claim all persistence problems are resolved. Verify the menu value after reopening rather than relying only on a scene looking different.
- Record whether the PC copy is Steam, Epic or Windows PC, plus the game build shown by the store/client.
- Choose one graphics option that appears not to persist; write down its current value and the value you intend to use.
- Change only that option, apply the menu changes, return to gameplay if required, then reopen the same graphics menu.
- Record whether the displayed value reverted, whether the game was restarted, and whether the symptom repeats.
- If it reproduces on build 2153883 or later, prepare a single-issue report with device/GPU/driver and numbered steps. Avoid bundling crashes, frame-rate questions and unrelated settings into one report.

Interpret the patch note without overclaiming
A named fix is evidence that the developer addressed a described class of behavior. The word 'certain' and the scope 'some scenarios' matter: a different option, hardware/driver combination or store build may not be the same issue. The official announcement also says the update reduces the need to restart for certain Frame Generation options; that should not be generalized to every graphics option.
| What happened | What can be concluded | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Value stays after reopening | This exact attempt did not reproduce a revert | Repeat only if the issue is intermittent; record the setting and build |
| Value reverts once | A persistence symptom occurred; root cause is unknown | Repeat once with one variable changed and capture exact steps |
| Value reverts repeatedly on updated PC build | Relevant to the patch's scoped settings note, but not proof of same bug | Draft a report with build, option, device and reproduction |
| Frame Generation option asks for restart | Patch says it reduced restarts for certain options, not that every change is live | Record which option and whether restart message appears |

Prepare a concise report
WB Games' announcement provides the build label and patch context; it does not supply a public diagnostic template. The local builder below assembles a useful reproduction record from your entries, but does not transmit data. Before submitting through WB Games support or Steam, remove account IDs, private messages and personal details. Community discussions can help compare symptoms, but they are player-authored and may concern earlier builds.

Use a small, controlled repeat check
A short comparison makes an intermittent setting issue easier to describe than changing several graphics controls at once. This is a documentation method, not a guaranteed repair and not a claim that GamerWin reproduced the problem.
- After recording the first attempt, change only one variable on the next attempt: for example, whether you restart the game before reopening the menu.
- Keep the option name, target value, PC build and driver unchanged while comparing that one variable.
- Note whether the value persists in the menu, after returning to gameplay, and after a full game restart; do not write 'saved' unless the displayed value remains.
- If different settings fail differently, split them into separate reports so the issue stays reproducible.
| Attempt detail | Record this | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Before changing | Exact option name and displayed value | Separates an appearance change from a stored menu value |
| Immediately after Apply | New displayed value | Shows whether the menu accepted the selection |
| After reopening the menu | Value shown now | Checks persistence without assuming the change worked |
| After a full restart | Value shown and restart performed | Separates restart behavior from in-session menu behavior |

Before you play
- Store/platform and PC game build recorded.
- One exact graphics option and before/after values recorded.
- Menu reopened before labeling the option as reverted.
- GPU, driver and device included where relevant.
- Report does not claim the patch fixes every settings issue and includes no private identifiers.
Frequently asked questions
Did the November 5 patch fix all graphics settings that fail to save?
No. The official announcement says it fixed an issue affecting certain options in some scenarios; it does not promise a universal fix.
Does this page submit a bug report?
No. The draft is generated in your browser from your entries and is only copied if you choose the button.
Should I restart after every Frame Generation change?
The patch says it reduced the need to restart for certain Frame Generation options. Check the in-game prompt and the exact option; the note is not a blanket no-restart rule.
