Drones, teammate activation and PvP drone drops are separate systems. Check the relevant skill/menu state before changing your loadout or replaying a mission.

1. For the standard surveillance drone, verify you completed the first visit to Erewhon's Infirmary; Ubisoft lists that as the unlock step.
2. For Syncshot Drone, open the Skills tree and confirm its skill is unlocked. The support article says it can mark/eliminate up to three targets, or up to twelve in co-op; use the live HUD to confirm current availability.
3. For AI teammates, confirm you have left Erewhon for the first time, then check the Lobby menu's teammate toggle. Activation is separate from appearance customization.
4. If playing Ghost War PvP, do not expect thermal/night-vision drone skills there; Ubisoft notes those skills cannot be used in PvP missions.
