Preparing the interactive tool. Please wait; the guide and worked examples remain available below.
Set the progression style first, then tune the challenge
Changing several parameters together makes it hard to tell which one improved or worsened the session. Record the preset, then adjust the smallest relevant setting.
- From the Lobby, open Ghost Experience and note whether Regular or Immersive is selected.
- Use Regular when you want gear level and item rarity active; use Immersive when you want those systems disabled.
- Open Ghost Experience Parameters and review enemy difficulty, tactical interface and social/bivouac options individually; Ubisoft says the preset description shows their effects.
- If a setting change feels wrong, use the matching Reset Parameters Regular or Reset Parameters Immersive option documented by Ubisoft, rather than trying to remember several prior toggles.
- Keep mode boundaries in mind: Ubisoft notes these parameters apply to your Ghost outside Ghost War and Raids, so do not use a PvP/raid outcome to judge the preset.
- Record the mode, parameter names and mission context before asking other players to compare results.
| Preference | Starting point | Scope note |
|---|---|---|
| Want item levels and tiered loot | Regular | Other parameters can still be adjusted |
| Want gear level/rarity off | Immersive | This removes those progression systems, not all difficulty |
| Want a custom mix | Choose a preset, then adjust individual parameters | Check each option's displayed description |
| Testing Ghost War or Raid | Use that mode's own rules | Ghost Experience parameters do not apply there |

Use the local settings worksheet
This worksheet drafts a comparison of your own settings. It does not read the game or recommend a universally easier preset.
- Select the system you want active or disabled and record the current preset.
- Change one parameter, complete a low-risk mission segment, and write the visible difference.
- If asking for help, include mode and whether it was Ghost War, a Raid or a regular session.

- I recorded the displayed platform, mode and game build.
- I separated an on-screen observation from my theory about its cause.
- I checked the linked official source for the mechanic or setting.
- I removed account details and private save data from anything I plan to share.

No. Ubisoft says the preset can be customized through Ghost Experience Parameters.
Will the parameters affect Ghost War or Raids?
Ubisoft Support says they apply to your Ghost outside Ghost War and Raids.
Can this tool apply the preset for me?
No. It helps compare choices you enter; settings must be changed in the game's menu.
