Treat the pedestal prompt as the floor-state check
The update's point is to make the seal loop visible: craft the matching seal, install it, then use the pedestal's current prompt. A built seal in inventory is not the same as an installed checkpoint. The patch notes do not provide a complete floor-by-floor recipe table.
- Read the Chapter 3 quest objective and note the current mine/floor it names.
- At the pedestal, read whether the prompt is Activate Pedestal or Teleport to Other Floor. The developer says the wording was updated to distinguish the available function based on installed seals.
- If the floor requires a seal you have not discovered, check the Almanac after entering that floor; update 3.1 says an unknown needed seal is automatically surfaced in that situation.
- Craft the seal shown by your current Almanac/quest and install it at the matching pedestal. Do not infer an installed checkpoint from merely carrying the item.
- After installation, test the pedestal prompt and verify the destination label before leaving. The notes say installed seals enable direct travel to that floor.
- Use the updated timing as a reference only: 20 minutes is the stated normal-day craft time after 3.1, not a guarantee under changed day-length settings or on another platform.
| UI state | Interpretation | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| Seal in inventory, pedestal still says Activate | Checkpoint may not be installed | Install the matching seal, then reread prompt |
| Pedestal says Teleport to Other Floor | An installed seal enables travel | Confirm destination before selecting |
| Unknown seal needed on floor | Almanac may surface it on entry per 3.1 | Read the listed seal and craft that one |
| Craft time differs from 20 minutes | Day-length setting/platform/build may differ | Compare the installed version and timing settings |

Log the floor sequence you have confirmed
This local note records floor labels and pedestal prompts typed by you. It is not a dungeon map and cannot reveal seals or unlock exits.
- Enter the current floor and exact quest/pedestal wording.
- Mark whether the seal is carried, crafted or installed.
- Record the destination shown before traveling.

Before you play
- I read the current quest objective and pedestal prompt.
- I confirmed the seal is installed, not just in inventory.
- I used the Almanac after entering a floor that requires an unknown seal.
- I treated the 20-minute craft time as normal-day, version-scoped information.
Frequently asked questions

The 3.1 notes describe installing a seal at the pedestal as the checkpoint action. Verify the prompt after installation.
Are all seals crafted in 20 minutes?
The cited update says seal craft time was reduced from 30 to 20 minutes in normal day-length timing. Settings and platform rollout may differ.
Does this planner show the mine floor map?
No. It only records floor names and prompts you enter.
