Empyrion - Galactic Survival: Scenario and excursion ledger

Record scenario, branch, settings, one trip goal, and a return trigger. This form only prepares a note in your browser; it does not contact the game, server or another player.

Entries stay in this page state and clear on reload. Nothing is stored, submitted, or sent to analytics by this component. Do not include account credentials, private file paths, personal information, or another player's identifying details. Community discussion is unverified user-generated content, not official support or proof of a mechanic.

Lock the context before following a walkthrough

In Empyrion, scenario selection is part of the actual play context, not decoration. A route or resource assumption from a different scenario can lead to wrong decisions. The official product page establishes the sandbox and multiplayer/Workshop context; the current in-game scenario screen and PDA are the source of truth for a particular save.

Start-save verification

  1. At world creation, copy the scenario label exactly and note whether the branch is stable or experimental, if the launcher exposes that choice.
  2. Record the visible difficulty and custom settings before starting; do not rely on memory or an old screenshot.
  3. Use the current tutorial/PDA objective for the selected scenario as your first progression route.
  4. If playing co-op, have the host confirm the scenario, settings, mod/workshop list and server build before other players invest in a character.
  5. When a community wiki or discussion provides a specific recipe/route, verify it against the current build and scenario; treat older alpha references as unverified until checked.

Why this page avoids a universal starter route

Empyrion has official and user-created scenarios, and official update posts distinguish experimental content from regular scenarios. This page does not claim a particular current version number, starter moon, required tool list or server rule. It is a context preflight for the PC/Steam edition.

Before you play

  • I recorded the exact scenario and branch.
  • Difficulty/world settings are written down.
  • The host confirmed server and mod context for co-op.
  • The current PDA/tutorial matches the walkthrough I plan to use.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the default-scenario guide in a Workshop scenario?

Not without checking. Workshop scenarios can change content and rules; verify against that scenario's description and active in-game prompts.

Is this a current v1.x starter recipe guide?

No. It deliberately avoids version-specific recipes and asks you to verify them in your installed scenario.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 7, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

  1. Empyrion - Galactic Survival on Steam (Official)

Eleon Game Studios describes a space-sandbox survival game with vessels, settlements and stations; Steam lists solo, PvP, online/LAN co-op and Workshop. PC/Steam scope only; scenarios and server settings vary.

  2. Empyrion official Steam manual (Official)

Developer-linked Steam manual entry point. Use the current in-game PDA/tutorial and the manual matching your branch; defaults and scenario instructions are not interchangeable.

  3. Empyrion official forums (Official)

Developer/community forum. The site includes official update and scenario information alongside user posts; identify the author and date before treating any forum reply as authoritative.

  4. Empyrion Steam player discussions (Community)

External Steam discussion board with player-authored posts. It is not official support, not a verified mechanic source, and may include outdated alpha/scenario/mod reports; check date and context.

  5. Empyrion community wiki (Community)

Community-maintained reference, not a current developer manual. Use only to locate a mechanic to verify in the active scenario; older pages may reflect earlier alpha versions.

What changed in this revision

November 7, 2026: first publication. Added a scenario/branch/server context record to prevent cross-scenario advice errors. Community wiki is explicitly secondary; no current save was played.
