Nitra and resupply rack budget

Enter the team's deposited Nitra, planned pods and crew size. Example values are placeholders, not a recommendation to call a pod now.

The entered Nitra covers the planned calls

Cost: 80 Nitra · remaining: 80 · racks: 4 total · up to 4 one-per-dwarf uses for this crew · unassigned rack capacity: 0

The official wiki lists 80 Nitra per pod, four racks per pod and 50% ammo/health per rack. This calculator does not read mission inventory, reserve Nitra, model individual ammo caps or decide whether a pod is tactically safe to call.

Calculate the shared cost before spending

Nitra belongs to the mission team. The cited wiki lists a fixed 80-Nitra cost for each ordered pod and no bonus for unused Nitra at mission end. That means the useful question is not simply 'how much can I mine?' but 'how many planned pod calls does the team need before extraction, and can our current deposit cover them?'

  1. Read the team's deposited Nitra from the in-game HUD or inventory display.
  2. Enter that team amount and your planned number of pods in the local planner below.
  3. Check the result's remaining Nitra; if it is negative, the proposed calls exceed the amount entered.
  4. Do not treat this arithmetic as permission to call a pod—check with the crew and verify the live mission state first.

A pod is four individual rack interactions

A pod has four racks, each used by one dwarf at a time. The wiki describes a baseline refill of 50% ammunition and 50% overall health per rack; actual ammo returned depends on the player's remaining ammo and equipment. For four players, allocating one rack each uses the whole pod's four-rack capacity. Smaller crews may have unused rack capacity, but that does not make the team's Nitra cost smaller.

Crew sizeRacks in one podIf one rack is assigned to each dwarf
1 dwarf41 rack used; 3 spare rack capacity
2 dwarves42 racks used; 2 spare rack capacity
3 dwarves43 racks used; 1 spare rack capacity
4 dwarves44 racks used; no spare rack capacity

Choose placement and timing from the actual cave

The wiki notes resupply placement restrictions: the beacon can be rejected near a landed pod or on unsuitable terrain, and the pod can damage players or creatures where it lands. A plan cannot inspect ground clearance, nearby enemies, low-oxygen status, team ammo or who has already taken a rack. Look at the hologram preview and coordinate before confirming.

  1. Before ordering, ask the crew whether someone needs a rack and whether another pod is already planned.
  2. Choose stable, useful terrain with a safe approach and enough spacing from landed pods; inspect the placement preview.
  3. Keep clear of the incoming pod's landing point.
  4. Once it lands, call out who takes each rack so one teammate does not assume another rack remains.

Tool limits and source date

This local planner only multiplies entered pod count by 80 Nitra and counts rack capacity. It does not read game memory, a save, HUD, team voice chat or live build; it cannot calculate exact ammo recovered or recommend a combat decision. The reference is a developer-supported community wiki checked November 5, 2026; verify the installed game's HUD and current references if a later update changes the system.

Before you play

  • I used the team Nitra count, not just the minerals I personally carried.
  • I discussed who will use each rack before the shared call.
  • I inspected the placement preview and kept clear of the landing zone.
  • I treated the result as arithmetic, not a live inventory or safety check.

Frequently asked questions

How much Nitra is one pod?

The linked official community wiki lists 80 team Nitra per Resupply Pod.

How many players can take supplies from one pod?

It has four racks. A four-player team can use one each; each rack is a separate interaction.

Does unused Nitra lower the mission result?

The wiki says stockpiled Nitra has no end-of-mission bonus. This guide does not claim every resource has the same scoring rule.
