Build the source-to-target eligibility pair
- Record whether the character is on Official PvP, PvE-C, PvE, an Unofficial server, single-player/co-op or a private dedicated server.
- Record the destination's server type and map; verify Isle of Siptah DLC access where needed.
- Leave the character's clan before export if the current system requires it; confirm followers/inventory and remove any items you do not intend to carry.
- Check whether another character export is pending and whether the transfer timer has expired.
- Read the current in-game transfer screen and target-server admin rules before confirming; do not assume an old tutorial matches the current branch.

Transfer direction and account limits
| Source → destination | Funcom-published boundary | Preflight |
|---|---|---|
| Official PvP → PvE-C/PvE | Allowed direction listed by Funcom | Confirm current target and wait timer |
| Official PvE → PvP | Not allowed in the published restrictions | Do not export expecting the reverse path |
| Single-player/co-op → dedicated | Not allowed by the published transfer rules | Keep the character in single-player/co-op |
| Private server → Official | Not allowed in the listed rules | Ask the target admin about the exact branch |
| Any export with character in a clan | R15 says transfer requires leaving a clan | Resolve clan membership first |

Know what this worksheet cannot validate
The rules are version- and server-dependent. An exported character may not bring the base/world with it, and unofficial servers can refuse imports. The local report does not query Funcom, a server or a character inventory.
- Check current Funcom guidance on the day you transfer, especially after a server maintenance or update.
- Ask an Unofficial server's administrator whether transfers and required mods are enabled before exporting.
- Keep a written record of source/destination type, map, build, transfer status and non-sensitive error wording.
- If the in-game transfer screen contradicts an older support page, stop and escalate with the current screen rather than retrying repeatedly.

Before you play
- I recorded source and target server types and maps.
- I checked clan, cooldown and pending-export conditions.
- I confirmed the destination's current import rules.
- I did not assume a character transfer carries bases/worlds.
- I treated Reddit as player discussion, not Funcom support.
Frequently asked questions
Can I move a single-player character to a dedicated server?
Funcom's transfer guidance says single-player/co-op characters cannot be imported to dedicated servers.
Can PvE characters move to PvP?
The published direction rules do not allow PvE to PvP; verify the current target's settings before export.
Does the tool check my character?
No. It organizes values you type and cannot see Funcom, the server, character or inventory.

- Conan Exiles: Character Transfer rules (Official)
Funcom's character-transfer rules separate server types and map what moves. The current PC Enhanced edition and console/Legacy versions differ; confirm the source/target server, map and current in-game transfer eligibility before exporting.
- Funcom: R15 reintroduces Character Transfers (Official)
April 14, 2026 PC/console update says one exported character per account, a transfer timer and no clan membership at export. Verify the current transfer tool page for later changes.
