Separate account, cross-play and ranked rules
Cross Progression makes an EA-linked profile available across platforms, but EA's Ranked page says Ranked progression is tracked separately by platform. EA's Cross-play page separately allows friends across supported platforms with cross-play enabled. The guide does not claim that every statistic, reward, playlist or current season rule is shared in the same way.

Diagnose a missing Ranked option in a safe order
Do not start by unlinking accounts or reinstalling the game. Check the basic gate, active profile, platform-specific rank state and any live service or playlist notice first.
- Confirm the platform account is linked to the EA Account that holds the intended Apex profile.
- Check the level shown in the current profile; EA's page sets Level 20 as the Ranked access threshold.
- Open the Ranked tile on the platform where you want to play. Rank progression is separate across platforms according to EA.
- Read the live in-game playlist message, any party-size/eligibility message and current EA season article; those may change independently of this static guide.
- If the account meets the displayed requirements but the tile remains unavailable, capture the non-sensitive error text and contact EA Support. Do not share credentials or recovery codes in community posts.

Use the platform-ranked preflight as a reminder, not a live status check
The tool only records your selected Level 20 gate and platform context. It does not read player data, infer a ban, inspect an EA account, check today's playlist rotation, verify server health or guarantee Ranked entry.

Separate official eligibility rules from player reports
Forum reports can reveal patterns worth checking, but they do not establish current Ranked rules or your account's eligibility. Compare the platform, season, profile level and exact in-game message before applying another player's troubleshooting steps.
