Separate resource sources from your own upgrade prices
Ubisoft documents several resource paths but does not give every player's current costs or inventory. Do not import an older endgame route without checking the installed update and menus.
- Confirm you are in NG+ and the installed version includes Title Update 1.8.0.
- When an already-owned gear piece or Book of Knowledge is collected, check the reward display. Ubisoft says duplicates convert to Mithril in NG+; record the actual amount your screen shows rather than assuming a count.
- If short, check the update's named alternate sources: Niflheim, Mastery and River Raid shops.
- For a Divine upgrade plan, note that the update raises the maximum gear level from 13 to 27 and requires Mithril; check each item's live cost before committing your reserve.
- If using Extended Progression, track the option separately: the notes say gear upgrades and Runes each increase Power by 1, while Masteries increase Power every 5 skill points.
- Before changing progression settings or spending scarce resources, compare the exact tooltip and mode in your game. No price table or save-level resource count is asserted here.
| Goal | Official update detail | Verify in your game |
|---|---|---|
| Collect duplicates in NG+ | Owned gear/Books of Knowledge yield Mithril | Actual reward and owned status |
| Find additional Mithril | Niflheim, Mastery and River Raid shops are named | Shop stock and current price |
| Upgrade Divine gear | Maximum raised from level 13 to 27; uses Mithril | Per-item cost and remaining materials |
| Use Extended Progression | Gear/Rune +1 Power; Masteries every 5 points | Whether option is enabled and current displayed Power |

Build a useful resource question
A player report should state what was collected and what the interface showed, rather than assuming an update changed a drop table incorrectly.
- List platform, build, NG+ iteration, progression setting and item category.
- Describe duplicate status, displayed reward and desired Divine upgrade level.
- Quote the current cost shown in your own UI; do not publish someone else's old price as a universal value.
- Share only the observation in external discussions; remove account and save data.

Before you play
- I recorded the displayed platform, mode and game build.
- I separated an on-screen observation from my theory about its cause.
- I checked the linked official source for the mechanic or setting.
- I removed account details and private save data from anything I plan to share.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mithril from duplicates a bug?
No, Ubisoft's 1.8.0 notes say owned duplicate gear and Books of Knowledge give Mithril in NG+. Check the reward display in your installed build.
How much Mithril does each upgrade cost?
The announcement does not publish a complete price table; use the item's current in-game tooltip.
Does this guide inspect my inventory?
No. It is an organization aid based on values you read in-game.
