Match the building to its prerequisite

The developer FAQ lists different unlock conditions. Treat 'as early as' as a lower bound, not a guaranteed delivery date, and check the exact quest/UI rather than applying one unlock path to every structure.

  1. Name the missing structure: Huge Greenhouse, Huge Shed, upgraded chicken coop, barn upgrade, or Propagation Shed.
  2. For Huge Greenhouse/Huge Shed, check the mailbox and season/year. The FAQ says Parker's letter can arrive as early as Spring in Year 2; it does not promise a specific day.
  3. For the chicken-coop upgrade, verify that the new animals have been unlocked with Marty through Menagerie Mix-Up, then recheck the relevant workshop/build menu.
  4. For the barn upgrade, check for Aryel's letter and the My Better Calf quest completion; the FAQ names both as the gate.
  5. For a Propagation Shed, consult the current construction options and official FAQ; do not confuse it with the Huge Shed letter.
  6. If a named gate appears complete but the option remains absent, record platform/build, structure and quest state before asking the developer or community.

  2. Enter the exact quest/letter currently visible and the platform/build.
  3. Copy the note, then verify the workshop UI in-game before gathering materials.

Does Spring Year 2 guarantee Parker's letter on day one?

No. The FAQ says 'as early as' Spring in Year 2; it does not give a guaranteed day.

Does unlocking new animals automatically unlock the barn upgrade?
