Separate a region timing gate from the weather event
Monomi Park's support note gives different conditions by region. A save may have progressed far enough overall while the area you are searching has not passed its own first-entry delay. Powderfall Bluffs is different again: the note says weather may occur any time after that region is discovered.
The same article says weather is dynamic, not preset. Passing a timing gate means it is worth checking the map; it does not mean an event must be active now. The live map icon and severity are the current evidence to use.
| Where you are searching | Official timing clue | What to verify next |
|---|---|---|
| Rainbow Fields | Weather does not appear until the middle of the second in-game day | Reach that point, then inspect the map icon |
| Starlight Strand | Wait more than two in-game days after first entering the zone | Count from first entry, not save creation; then inspect map |
| Ember Valley | Wait more than two in-game days after first entering the zone | Count from first entry, not save creation; then inspect map |
| Powderfall Bluffs | Weather may appear any time after discovery | Confirm discovery and inspect map; no extra wait is stated |
| Another region | This checker makes no timing claim | Read that area's own map and current in-game description |

Match the rare slime to the weather clue
A general weather icon is not enough for a targeted search. The official support note links Dervish Slimes with cyclones during extremely windy weather and Tangle Slimes with pollen clouds and vines during heavy pollen weather. Use those descriptions as search clues; the source does not promise that every qualifying event contains a slime or specify a spawn rate.
- Open the in-game map and check the region you intend to search, including its weather severity.
- For Dervish, wait for an extremely windy event and look for cyclones rather than treating any breeze as the target condition.
- For Tangle, wait for heavy pollen and look for the pollen clouds and vines named by the support article.
- If the map does not show a matching event, switch to a different ranch task and check again later; the weather has no fixed schedule in the source.
- Record the region, in-game day, displayed event, and game platform/build if the icon or slime behavior differs from the article.

Use the region checker without turning it into a forecast
The planner below applies only the published timing thresholds for the four named regions and the support page's two severe-weather clues. For Strand and Ember Valley, enter complete in-game days since your first entry; the wording is “after 2 days,” so the checker does not treat exactly two elapsed days as a passed gate. For Rainbow Fields, it uses the current in-game day and the separate middle-of-day-2 condition.
A “ready” result means the documented gate or weather clue matches your entries. It cannot see the save, account for every patch variation, select a route or guarantee that the rare slime spawned.

Worked example: returning to Starlight Strand
Suppose your notes say you entered Starlight Strand two full in-game days ago and the map shows no weather. The official note says weather appears there only after two days from first entry, so do not label the absence a bug yet: let the gate pass, reopen the map, and check again. If the map later shows ordinary weather but no Dervish, that still does not meet the separate cyclone/extremely-windy clue.
This is a source-based scenario, not a report from a GamerWin save. A useful real report includes the platform/build, first-entry day, current day, map icon and severity, and whether you actually saw the named effect.

Version and platform limits
This guide was revised November 5, 2026. Monomi Park's support articles are the authority for the quoted rules; no cross-platform comparison was performed. The official Steam listing shows the developer's Patch 1.3 announcement dated September 22, 2026, but this guide does not claim the same version number is installed on Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, or other storefront builds. Check the installed version and map wording if they differ.

Before you play
- I counted the correct region's own delay, especially first entry for Strand or Ember Valley.
- I checked the in-game map for the current event and severity.
- I matched the weather to the slime clue rather than searching from a calendar guess.
- I treated this as a search checklist, not a guaranteed spawn or tested route.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see no weather in Starlight Strand?
Monomi Park says weather does not appear there until after two in-game days from your first entry. Count from entering the zone, then inspect the map; weather is dynamic.
Does a severe weather event guarantee a Dervish or Tangle Slime?
No. The official help page links those slimes to particular severe-weather visuals, but does not give a spawn guarantee or rate.
Is this checker a current-version spawn calculator?
No. It transcribes published region and weather clues into a checklist. It does not inspect a save, benchmark a build, predict an event or promise a slime encounter.
