Build a precise Parkitect troubleshooting note

Record the variables that change the correct support route. Your entries stay in this page until you choose to copy the note; they are not uploaded or saved. Never enter passwords, recovery codes, payment details, or another player's personal data.

Suggested next step

Record installed build, scenario, attraction or facility, displayed UI evidence and one change at a time; the worksheet cannot inspect a park or calculate throughput.

Find the outlier in the overview

Texel Raptor specifically added sorting attractions by average queue time. That is a useful comparison signal within one park, not the same as maximum queue length or a guaranteed measurement of guest satisfaction.

  1. Open the Attraction Overview and sort by average queue time using the current interface.
  2. Record the top few rides, their average queue times, open/closed status and visible queue lengths.
  3. Compare rides with similar type or capacity before treating a single high value as a problem.
  4. Select one outlier and inspect whether the ride is operating, loading and connected to a valid queue/exit path.

Separate capacity, dispatch, and access

A queue can accumulate because guests arrive faster than a ride serves them, because a ride is paused or unavailable, or because the path is awkward. These are different observations; the cited developer update establishes the overview sort, not which cause applies to your park.

Observed clueCheck nextNot proven
High average queue time, ride operatingRide capacity/cycle and guest arrival from nearby pathsThat queue length should match one full load exactly
Queue grows while ride is closed or stalledRide status, entrance/exit and any visible alertThat more cars will solve a closed ride
Guests pass the entrance or leave the queueQueue path connection, entrance direction and accessThat the overview value alone reveals a path fault

Run a controlled comparison

Use the same overview field before and after one adjustment. Adding capacity, reducing walk friction, or redistributing nearby guests can each change a park differently; the guide makes no claim about a universal optimum.

  1. Write down the selected ride's average queue time and current capacity/load configuration shown in the game.
  2. Choose one low-risk change, such as improving the queue approach or adjusting one operating setting available in that scenario.
  3. Let a comparable period pass without changing several other rides at once.
  4. Reopen the overview sort and compare the same ride against its peers.
  5. If the observation is still unclear, share scenario, version, ride type, settings and before/after values in a clearly labeled player discussion.

Before you play

  • Installed platform/version and scenario recorded.
  • Attraction Overview average-queue sort checked.
  • Queue time kept distinct from queue length and ride throughput.
  • Ride status, capacity/cycle and entrance/exit connection inspected.
  • Only one change made before comparing the same overview measure.
  • No queue target or performance result invented.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the worst average queue time?

The developer's April 2024 update says the Attraction Overview can be sorted by average queue time; the exact current menu label may differ by build.

Does the guide calculate guests per minute?

No. It helps compare the game's displayed queue-time evidence; it does not access a park, simulate dispatch or calculate throughput.

Should every ride queue hold one full ride load?

No universal queue-sizing rule is established by the cited developer update. Check your ride and scenario in-game.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 6, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

  1. Texel Raptor: Parkitect free content update (Official)

Developer post dated April 18, 2024 says the Attraction Overview list can be sorted by average queue time. It does not define an ideal wait, ride capacity target, or guarantee that changing a queue will increase throughput.

  2. Parkitect Steam pinned changelog and discussions (Community)

Steam Community is a hosting page for the pinned developer-authored changelog and also contains player replies. Treat the specifically pinned developer post as a dated primary update, but treat player replies as user-generated. Verify the installed client before relying on current UI labels.

  3. Parkitect Steam Discussions (Community)

Player posts include park-rating, queue, staff and pathing questions. They are not verified GamerWin results. Specify platform, installed version, scenario, ride, observed queue time and staff-zone boundaries; remove private account details from screenshots.

What changed in this revision

November 6, 2026: added a source-bounded queue-time diagnostic from Texel Raptor's Attraction Overview note; no park or ride was tested.
