Build a precise Lethal Company troubleshooting note

Record the variables that change the correct support route. Your entries stay in this page until you choose to copy the note; they are not uploaded or saved. Never enter passwords, recovery codes, payment details, or another player's personal data.

Suggested next step

Record build/branch, mods, crew size, terminal quota, credited value and deadline; the worksheet cannot read scrap or predict run success.

Read the current quota and crew state

The official game description frames salvage collection around a profit quota. It does not provide a current per-moon yield guarantee; use the active terminal and your crew's actual state.

  1. Record the displayed quota and the value the crew has already secured/credited in the current run.
  2. Check days remaining, crew members available, ship/equipment state and whether the lobby is modded.
  3. Write down any items still carried separately from value already credited at the Company.
  4. Compute the gap as required quota minus credited value; do not add a carried item's estimate until the UI confirms it is credited.

Choose the next trip by risk, not a fixed tier list

Player discussions show why old route rankings can diverge: patch, lobby mods and team skill all change observed outcomes. The decision is yours; this guide does not declare a universally best moon.

Current conditionPlanning questionAvoid
Small gap, little time leftCan the crew safely convert an already-known route into enough credited value?Assuming a high-value moon is automatically worth the risk
Large gap, early quota daysWhat equipment and crew roles are available in this build?Copying a modded high-quota run
Carried scrap is not creditedCan the crew return/sell before the deadline under current rules?Counting estimated carried value as already banked
Discussion gives a different answerDoes its version, branch, mod set and crew size match yours?Treating anecdotal item prices as a current guarantee

Make a crew-readable decision note

A useful plan lets everyone distinguish displayed facts from estimates. Never present the resulting arithmetic as a victory prediction.

  1. Copy the quota, credited value, deadline and game build from your current session.
  2. Keep carried items, sold items and shop spending as separate notes.
  3. Agree on a stop/return condition with the crew before entering another facility.
  4. After the run, compare what was credited with the estimate and update your own note—do not call one run a universal strategy.

Before you play

  • Build/branch and mod state recorded.
  • Quota copied from current terminal.
  • Credited value separated from carried scrap estimate.
  • Deadline and available crew/equipment recorded.
  • Trip decision is risk-based, not a static moon tier claim.
  • No run or success rate is claimed as tested.

Frequently asked questions

Does the tool know my scrap inventory?

No. It records only what you enter and does not connect to a save, ship or terminal.

Can a moon tier list tell me the guaranteed quota value?

No. Build, mods, random encounters and crew execution matter; use current game evidence.

Does the remaining quota gap mean we should always take another trip?

No. Compare remaining time, crew safety, available gear and your own risk tolerance.

Sources & revision notes

Editorial revision: November 7, 2026; not a gameplay test date. The reference notes identify source limits and version differences.

  1. Lethal Company Steam store: co-op quota premise and system scope (Official)

The official store description frames the job around recovering scrap and meeting a profit quota; it is a premise summary, not a detailed current value table. Build and mods can change play. This guide uses only the crew's live quota and collected value, not fixed moon recommendations.

  2. Zeekerss: Lethal Company developer announcements and patch notes (Official)

Developer-authored Steam announcement feed; branch and version can change the creature, facility, moon and equipment rules. Read the exact note for the build actually launched. Do not use a community tier list or modded run as proof of vanilla values. No match was played.

  3. Lethal Company Steam Discussions (Community)

Player-generated reports may refer to old versions, beta branches, mods, custom moons or larger lobbies. State exact game version/branch, mods, crew size, moon and displayed quota; don't repost another crew's alleged item values as a verified current table.

What changed in this revision

November 7, 2026: first publication; added a quota-gap decision framework using crew-entered and live UI values, with no fixed moon yields. No run was played.
