Rule out a platform mismatch before changing network settings
Bandai Namco's FAQ explicitly limits cross-generation compatibility to PlayStation generations and Xbox generations separately. A shared password cannot bridge PC and console. When a supported group still fails, the publisher asks players to align several lobby and version settings.
| Party combination | Official boundary | Next check |
|---|---|---|
| PS4 + PS5 | Cross-generation compatible | Same target, multiplayer mode and regulation |
| Xbox One + Xbox Series | Cross-generation compatible | Same target, multiplayer mode and regulation |
| PlayStation + Xbox | No cross-platform play | Choose one platform family |
| PC + console | No cross-platform play | Choose one platform family |
| Same family, still no match | Supported combination | Check exact password, target, versions and network setting |

Run the publisher's lobby preflight
Remembrance progress can also prevent matching if multiple party members are advancing personal goals at once. Bandai Namco says the player progressing a Remembrance should start matchmaking first; other players can deactivate their own Remembrance from the Journal when appropriate.
- Confirm the intended platform family and that every player is online on the current game server.
- At Roundtable Hold, set the same expedition target and choose Multiplayer rather than Single Player.
- If using a password, compare every character exactly; passwords are case-sensitive.
- Compare the app version and regulation shown on the title screen, then align the out-of-region matchmaking setting.
- If a Remembrance is active for more than one player, have the progressing player initiate the search first; others can review Journal settings.
- Only after those checks, exit matchmaking and restart the game as the official FAQ suggests; record the exact error before contacting platform support.

Frequently asked questions
Can a password enable PlayStation-to-PC play?
No. The official FAQ says platform crossplay is unavailable; passwords only help within supported platform matchmaking.
Should every player deactivate Remembrance?
Not necessarily. Bandai Namco says only one progressing player can pursue personal goals in Limveld at a time; have that player initiate matchmaking first.
Can this page inspect current server status?
No. The worksheet records what you observe; it does not query matchmaking or connect to your game.
