Name the job before changing accounts
Cross-play means visiting another player's Valley; cross-save/cross-progression means carrying your own progress between devices. Gameloft's Apple Arcade support explicitly supports cross-play with other platform groups while restricting Arcade cross-save to the Apple ecosystem. A successful visit therefore does not prove a save can move.
| What you want | Relevant feature | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| Visit a friend's Valley | Cross-play | Both platforms/editions and current multiplayer requirements |
| Continue your own save on another platform | Cross-save/cross-progression | Source and target edition, cloud account, and game ownership on target |
| Move between Apple devices on Arcade | Apple Arcade cross-save | Same Apple Account and Apple Arcade ecosystem |
| Move an Arcade save to console/PC | Not supported by the Arcade cross-save article | Do not assume cross-play means cross-save |

Use this preflight before the first link
The local checker below maps the platform pair to Gameloft's published scope. It cannot tell which edition you own or whether an account is correctly linked; treat each step as something to verify on your own title screen.
- Write down the source device and destination device, including whether either copy is Apple Arcade Edition.
- Confirm you own the game on the destination platform. Gameloft's cross-progression FAQ says ownership is needed for each platform where you want to play.
- From the game's Title Screen, create or sign in to the Gameloft Cloud Save Account using the official account flow; protect the email and password and never paste them into a help request.
- If PlayStation is part of the pair, use the current PlayStation linking prompts. Gameloft announced cross-save support on June 18, 2025; do not rely on old posts claiming it is unavailable.
- If Apple Arcade is involved, keep save expectations within Arcade devices associated with the Apple Account. The Arcade help page says cross-save does not extend outside that ecosystem.
- Keep the source device and its local progress intact. On the destination, load the game and verify the expected Valley and progress before removing or overwriting any copy.

Create the cloud account before troubleshooting sync
Gameloft describes the Cloud Save Account as a way to protect progress and says it can be created from the Title Screen with an email address and password. Creating an account is a setup step, not proof that a platform pair is supported or that the latest session finished uploading. Keep credentials private and verify the displayed account on each device.
- Open the Title Screen and create or sign in to the Gameloft Cloud Save Account using the official in-game flow.
- Record which account is displayed on the source device without writing the password into notes or a support post.
- On the destination, sign in to the same intended account and confirm the target edition/platform is within the documented compatibility boundary.
- Load the destination and verify the Valley before removing or replacing the source copy.

If the sync does not appear
Compare the exact account shown on both devices, the edition, and the direction of the move. Do not repeatedly link and unlink accounts based on a community reply. Save screenshots of the non-sensitive error text and contact Gameloft through its official support route if the in-game cloud account does not recognize the expected progress.

Before you play
- Separate cross-play from cross-save; a Valley visit is not a save test.
- Verify ownership on every platform where you plan to play.
- Identify whether either copy is Apple Arcade Edition before linking.
- Use the in-game Cloud Save Account flow and verify account identity on both ends.
- Keep the source save intact until the destination loads the expected progress.
Frequently asked questions
Can I continue an Apple Arcade save on a console?
Gameloft's Arcade FAQ limits cross-save to Apple devices in the Apple Arcade ecosystem and says it does not support cross-save outside that ecosystem.
Is PlayStation cross-save supported?
Gameloft announced PlayStation cross-save on June 18, 2025. Follow the current in-game linking instructions for your account pair.
Does visiting another platform prove my save will sync there?
No. Gameloft documents cross-play and cross-save separately; cross-play does not establish cross-save compatibility.
