Browser-local strategy worksheet

Company of Heroes 3 version-aware question builder

Organize the mode, patch, branch, mods, or Final Stand party roles before comparing a guide or asking other players.

This worksheet only uses fields entered in this page tab; it does not read a save, game client, PC, account, logs, or Steam branch and submits nothing. Entries clear on reload. External community posts are user-generated and unverified; remove usernames, credentials, private save data, receipts, and personal file paths before sharing.

Agree on roles from the actual lobby

The value here is reducing duplicated attention, not prescribing unit balance. Final Stand's 3.0 preview announces three-player co-op and new units/abilities/passive technologies. Since the best response depends on map, unlocked options and patch, assign responsibilities in plain language and verify in the live UI.

  1. Before queueing, confirm all three players are in Final Stand and on the same current build.
  2. Ask each player what units/abilities are actually available in their lobby; don't assume a previewed option is unlocked for this run.
  3. Choose one person to call immediate threats, one to monitor reinforcement/economy/upgrade prompts and one to watch an agreed objective or uncovered lane. Swap if the map makes these roles unbalanced.
  4. Set a short check-in after the first major wave/objective: name one lane under pressure and one resource/upgrade constraint.
  5. If a run fails, record the battleground, displayed build, team roles and the first point the plan stopped working. Change one role assignment next run rather than claiming a universal composition.
Planning decisionUseful questionAvoid assuming
Threat callerWho tracks the active threat and communicates it?That one player must always use one faction/unit
Upgrade attentionWho checks the current upgrade choices and costs?A previewed passive is unlocked in this run
CoverageWhich objective/lane is uncovered if the team groups?A role plan guarantees a clear
After-action changeWhat was the first observable overload? One failure proves a patch-wide balance rule

Keep a factual run debrief

Use a compact note so a future attempt can be compared against the same map and build. The worksheet does not read or save the match.

  1. Write the battle/battleground name shown in-game, build and party size.
  2. List each player's chosen responsibility, not private account details.
  3. Record the first objective or lane that became unsustainable and what the UI showed.
  4. Ask a focused question in external discussions only after separating observation from proposed solution.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the best Final Stand composition?

No. It is a flexible communication template; current balance, map and available options matter.

Does the official source document the roles?

No. It documents the mode and new options; the role split is clearly editorial advice.

Can the worksheet post my result?

No. It only formats entries in the browser; sharing is manual and optional.
